Lalania Hayes is Omeza’s Vice President of Operations. In this role, she is responsible for the strategic planning, direction, and execution of daily operations activities across the organization as well as creating and managing efficient and cost-effective systems that meet the current and future needs of the organization. Among her responsibilities, Lalania oversees the manufacturing and purchasing departments, ensuring that each team is achieving departmental and corporate goals and objectives.
Prior to joining Omeza, Ms. Hayes held the position of Chief Operations Officer of Rockbottombottles, LLC., a wholesale distributor of packaging products based in Sarasota, FL. Ms. Hayes was instrumental in executing the business plan from its start-up to the eventual sale of the company. In this role, she managed international vendor relationships; international and domestic freight by ocean, air, and land; accounting; finance; and she aided in development of eCommerce platform.
She has a proven track record of success and an expansive skillset honed from diverse career experiences across multiple industries. Prior to her tenure at Rockbottombottles, Ms. Hayes held multiple positions in the public education system, facilitating student access to vital technology that enabled their academic success; and in the medical field, implementing best practices for HIPPA by employing technological safeguards to protect confidential patient information. Ms. Hayes earned her Associates of Science in Medical Assisting from Keiser University.
