COMPANY HISTORY
The History Of Omeza Holdings, Inc.
Research began into the unique wound healing properties of marine life at the world-renowned Mote Marine Laboratory in Sarasota, FL, USA.
2013
Omeza LLC was formed to explore different therapeutic applications in wound care and dermatology, utilizing advanced chemical engineering to develop its core formulations.
2014
Omeza’s lead product, OCM™, was FDA cleared in September 2021 as a 510(k) bioactive device, with instructions for use in hard-to-heal chronic wounds and acute wounds.
2021
Omeza LLC converted to Omeza Holdings Inc., a registered corporation, in January 2022. This corporate structure allows for further development globally of multiple therapeutic applications of OMEZA’s proprietary technology.
2022
By early 2025, Omeza had published 7 peer-reviewed publications on OCM™, studying 200 patients with a variety of very serious hard-to-heal wounds.
2025
Omeza concluded its first Series A financing in April.
